We made it through Labor Day Weekend, and it was a fun (and busy) one! As I mentioned earlier in the season, this is one of our odd delivery-day weeks. So order cutoff time will be 9am tomorrow (Wednesday) and deliveries and pickups will be Thursday evening.

We have some new crops starting this week: Salad Turnips, Tatsoi, Gold on Gold Watermelon, and some amazing seedless grapes from Coloma, MI.

We have at least 13 weeks left to the season, which means we've about made it to our half-way point. And, of course, if you haven't already, you're still welcome to become a Market Subscriber. RECIPE OF THE WEEK

What are and what to do with Winter Radishes?

For those of you who are not yet familiar with our Winter Radish Mix, they are truly a treat! Technically, they are all types of daikon radishes, which means that they are larger and more mild than your typical salad "cherry belle" radish. We're currently growing 7 varieties of Winter Radish.

My all time favorite preparation is thinly slicing the radish with a mandoline, lightly salting, giving them a 10 minute "rest" then tossing them with olive oil.
