The race is still on to get winter greens covered and the last things harvested! We're expecting to get a hard frost tonight, so we've been scrambling all weekend to get the work done. It seems no matter how much time we have to prepare, we're never truly ready for the first hard frost!
So, I'm keeping this short this week (so I can get back out in the cold! :)
New this week is just Celeriac, Sorrel and Bunched Celery. We're bunching our celery instead of selling them whole as this summer's on-again-off-again drought prevented uniform growth.
Also, around here, November is Squash Month. All of our Winter Squash varieties have been discounted so you can start stocking up. We'll also be offering a Mixed Squash Box starting next week.
Now, time to pile on those wool layers!
